  • It is really an amazing exercise to focus on your own job ads and compare them with others. You must analyse that how other companies are saying the same thing and does it seems impressive. For a while just think from job seekers point of view, he is finding same stuff in all job ads so how he will decide that he must choose your company. Actually it can be so complicated to get right candidate when you are not making true efforts to make your job postings. Experts say that job postings are just like working on product advertisement, more you attract people more response you will be able to get from market.

Recently I went online to search for bpo jobs and I was surprised to see that all companies are posting the same details on their job description. When everything sounds similar then how can a job seeker make decision about right and wrong? Imagine if advertisement for every soap brand is same, they copy same content for videos and audio then how users will get attracted, everything will appear so boring to them and definitely they will pick something out of interest. Same is the case with job openings, as here if people are not able to differentiate between profile specifications then companies will not be able to get right candidates for their vacancies and job seekers will not be able to get right platform.

When marketing team decides to promote their new product in market then they try to pick the best idea for advertisement. They focus on public interests and try to attract people towards qualities of product so that consumers can easily make their mind to buy it. Similarly your job postings must be attractive and engaging so that job seeker can find out something good about your company and can make decision to be an applicant soon. Those who want to attract very high performers need to create high level job postings and share your attitude via job ads. The culture of workplace and responsibilities of job profile must be well described along with expected skills so that only suitable candidates can submit their applications for interview.

When you job ads are not well managed then resume scrutiny also becomes quite difficult because you will probably get all types of resumes as applicants are not able to get right information about job profile so they will send applications blindly. It is important to compete with other companies in market even while hiring professionals for you, the process must be same as selling a product against competitors. If you fail to advertise in both cases, the results will be unwanted and performance will go low.

Prefer to use right language along with unique culture, set some standards as per your company and post job advertisement while maintaining your dignity. The job seeker will definitely come with the same attitude and it will become much easier for you to do final selection.
